Botulinum Toxin “Botox” Brow Lift

What is a Botox Brow Lift?

A Botox Brow Lift involves injecting botulinum toxin into the muscles that cause us to frown as well as to shut our eyes. But injecting and relaxing the brow depressors, the action of the brow elevators (forehead muscles) will predominate leading to a Brow Lift effect.

How is a Botox Brow Lift performed?

The face is cleansed and numbing cream is applied. Botulinum toxin is then injected into the glabella brow depressors as well as the superolateral orbicularis oculi muscle. Soothing recovery cream will then be applied at the end of the procedure.

How long will it take for me to see results and how long will the results last?

Clinical results can be seen after 10 to 14 days. The effects last for approximately 4 to 6 months.

What are the potential side effects that may occur from a Botox Brow Lift?

These are complications that are common to all botulinum toxin injections e.g. redness, swelling, bruising, etc. The Botox Brow Lift procedure is safe and effective, side effects are usually mild and self-limiting.
