Acne or pimples can be very distressing. Our clinic carries a wide range of topical medications and oral tablets such as isotretinoin (Oratane).
- Atopic dermatitis – this is more common in children, and there is almost always a family history of asthma, eczema and/or allergic rhinitis (sensitive nose)
- Hand and feet eczema
- Asteatotic eczema – this is due to very dry skin, and usually affects the legs
- Stasis dermatitis on the legs – this is due to poorly functioning leg veins
- Seborrhoeic dermatitis or dandruff
On the other hand, psoriasis is a long-term skin condition in which patients get thick, red and raised patches with silver-white scales.
Our clinic stocks various steroid and non-steroid creams as well as moisturisers for the effective treatment of both eczema and psoriasis.
In urticaria or hives, swollen itchy red bumps appear on the skin suddenly. This is usually treated with antihistamines and/or steroid tablets (for more severe cases), which are available at J Laser and Aesthetics Clinic.
