How are tear trough fillers performed?
The face is cleansed and numbing cream is applied. The HA filler is then placed on the supraperiosteal plane using a needle or cannula. Care is taken not to overfill the tear trough region as its superficial anatomy will make filler clumps or lumps more obvious. Soothing recovery cream will then be applied after the procedure.
