What is PCL Collagen Filler?
PCL Collagen Filler is a non-hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. It contains Poly-Caprolactone (PCL) microspheres suspended in a gel-carrier made up of Carboxymethycellulose (CMC). When injected into the skin, PCL Collagen Filler will start to fill up the areas affected by volume loss. The PCL microspheres then slowly degrades, leaving behind collagen structures that steadily rebuild and reshape facial contours, naturally producing collagen over time. Its effects peak at approximately 12 weeks post injection.
How long does an PCL Collagen Filler last?
It is a bio-stimulating dermal filler which stimulates the formation of new collagen. Thus, its effects typically last between 2 to 4 years.

What can I expect during the treatment and how long does it take?
Firstly, your face will be cleansed thoroughly. This will be followed by application of a numbing cream for approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Depending on which site of the face is being treated, Dr Ngiam may choose to use either a blunt cannula or needle to administer the PCL Collagen Filler injections.
How soon can I return to normal activities?
There is minimal downtime – you can actually resume your usual lifestyle as soon as your treatment is over.
Are there any side effects?
Fillers used nowadays are generally safe and seldom produce severe side effects. The most common side effects are injection-related, such as redness, pain, itching, swelling or bruising. These post-treatment reactions are usually mild and disappear after a few days.
